Round Buckets

Round plastic buckets with lids are among our best-selling packaging solutions for food, pet food, as well as chemical, technical and industrial filling products. Our polypropylene (PP) buckets are available in numerous sizes, ranging from approximately 0.5 litres to 60 litres.

All round buckets offered in our shop are available directly from stock. Many models can also be individually decorated using In-Mould Labelling (IML). Specific sizes, technical properties and application information can be found directly on the respective product page.

Round plastic buckets – sizes, properties and selection

Round buckets are among the most versatile types of plastic packaging and are used for a wide variety of filling products. Our range includes numerous polypropylene (PP) designs – from small packaging buckets starting at approximately 0.5 litres to large-volume buckets with a nominal volume of 60 litres. All models offered in our shop are available directly from stock.

Round buckets at a glance

Sizes and volumes: Our range extends from approximately 0.5 litres to 60 litres. Frequently requested sizes include, for example, 1 litre, 2.5 litres, 5.5 litres, 10 litres, 12 litres, 15 litres, 17 litres, 20 litres, 25 litres, 33 litres and 60 litres. The complete current selection can be found using the nominal volume filter in this category.
Material: Our round buckets are made from polypropylene (PP). Different material designs are available depending on the product.
Food contact: Many of our round buckets are intended for direct contact with food. Whether a specific bucket is food contact compliant can be found in the information provided for the respective product.
Lids and tamper-evident closures: Different lid designs are available depending on the bucket system. Many models feature a tamper-evident closure that provides visible evidence of first opening.
Handles: Depending on the product, plastic or metal handles as well as special Short Handle designs are available.
IML and custom decoration: Many round buckets can be individually decorated using In-Mould Labelling (IML). This allows branding, product information and graphic designs to be integrated directly into the packaging. Available options and minimum order quantities depend on the respective product and project.
Temperature and application: Warm or hot filling, high-temperature applications and suitability for freezing are product-specific properties. The information provided for the respective product and the available technical documentation are decisive.
Liquid filling products: Suitability for liquids depends on the specific bucket-and-lid system, the filling product and the conditions of use. Liquid tightness should therefore always be assessed on a product-specific basis.
Recycling: Polypropylene can in principle be mechanically recycled. The actual recyclability of a packaging product depends, among other factors, on its specific design and on the available collection, sorting and recycling infrastructure.

Which round bucket is suitable for my application?

Selection depends not only on the required volume, but also on the filling product and the subsequent processing conditions. For food applications, factors such as food contact compliance, filling temperature, storage and freezing may be relevant. For chemical and technical filling products, material compatibility should also be considered for the specific application.
