Do the delivered containers have to be cleaned?

During production, our products leave the machines virtually germ-free. However, subsequent contamination during packaging, transport, or storage cannot be completely ruled out. For this reason, we recommend that the containers be subjected to a suitable cleaning process by the filler before being filled with food.

In practice, a short rinsing or air-cleaning step with appropriate filtration is often sufficient to remove dust or transport residues. For particularly sensitive filling goods, cleaning should be carried out in accordance with the specific hygiene standards of the filling operation.

Background The containers leave production almost germ-free but may collect dust during transport and storage. Cleaning by the filler ensures that hygiene responsibility lies with the filling operation.
